Join us for an evening of sculpting and painting your very own face mug. In this four-hour workshop, you’ll be guided step by step to bring your ideas to life in clay.
First half (2 hours): You’ll begin with a pre-thrown and trimmed base mug, handmade on the wheel by your instructor, Alicia (@meilinceramics). Using clay, you’ll sculpt facial features and attach a handle to make the mug uniquely yours.
Second half (2 hours): Once your form is complete, you’ll bring it to life with color. Explore painting techniques using underglazes to decorate your mug.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind face mug to take home and cherish. No prior clay experience is needed; just bring your imagination and we’ll provide the rest.
